Quick intro …
Mojácar is pronounced more like “Mo-ha-ka”
Where in the world is it?
At a glance, Mojácar is a coastal town in the South East region of Spain. It is a popular resort for both British holiday makers and the Spanish alike.

The area is served by 3 airports. The closest airport is Almeria, which is less than an hour away, but Murcia is reasonably close, and a bit further afield – but with a larger range of flights is Alicante. For more information see: getting to Mojácar
Many people “know” Spain through the “Costas” – so below is a map showing the Costas. Mojácar is situated on the Costa Almeria (in orange at the bottom – towards Costa Calida – shown in purple). For climate information see Mojacar Climate
Andalucia, is an unspoilt region of Spain (isolated under Franco). Mojácar is on the east coast of Andalucía – just south of the area shown as Murcia in the coloured map – and highlighted in the map on the right.
